3 Steps to Become a Member

Step 01

Fill in the application form

Tell us about your organisation and your work in the circular economy.

Step 02

Attend the mandatory onboarding call

In the onboarding call we clarify possibilities for cooperation and mutual expectations.

Step 03

Be approved by the PREVENT Steering Committee

The Steering Committee reviews membership applications within 4-6 weeks after the onboarding call.

    Become part of a diverse and vibrant network with over 500 committed circular economy actors from the Global North and South – including companies, NGOs, academia, and public institutions.

  2. Build knowledge through peer-to-peer exchange 

    Benefit from a safe space for in-depth technical exchange and critical discussions on circular economy solutions and trends. Join and contribute to our working group meetings, EPR community, webinars, matchmaking sessions or leadership trainings!  

  3. Find the right partners for your project or business

    Find the right partners for your business or circular economy project and build meaningful new partnerships, for example by presenting your organisation at our weekly matchmaking sessions and networking on our member platform "PREVENT Hub".  

  4. Increase impact and minimize risks through collaborative action 

    Use PREVENT as a platform for collective action to pilot pragmatic and impactful solutions that advance the circular economy worldwide. PREVENT offers a forum for discussing and aligning joint standards that can be fed into international processes such as the plastic treaty.  

  5. Benefit from targeted support services

    Benefit from the innovation programmes regularly offered by PREVENT, which provide targeted technical and financial support for selected projects. To improve financing for CE projects, PREVENT has set up a financing group and is establishing a financing helpdesk for members.  

  6. Enhance your visibility 

    Reach an international audience by sharing your news via the PREVENT newsletter, LinkedIn channel or website. Join PREVENT at high-profile international events such as the World Circular Economy Forum or plastic treaty negotiations to showcase our collective efforts and innovative approaches.

If you would like to become a member, please fill in the membership form below. With this application you state that your organisation is interested in becoming an active member of the PREVENT Waste Alliance. Being a member implies supporting the mission of PREVENT and participating in one or more working groups. The steering committee will decide on the acceptance of your application within six weeks.
