Zero Plastic Oceans develops incentives and models to prevent Ocean Bound Plastic from reaching oceans. ZPO is the founder of the Ocean Bound Plastic Certification Program. The OBP Program is composed of 2 subprogram covering the value chain of OBP Collection and Recycling and the value chain of plastic neutrality (Collection and Treatment of Non-recyclable OBP – Credit Emission – Offsetting).

We are interested to connect with other actors in the field and participate in project that will help reduce the amount of OBP that leaks from the system.

It means an economy that tends towards minimising the amount of waste that it generates while also looking at reducing its global inputs and outputs.
