New webinar recording on informal-formal partnerships in e-waste management

The webinar recording introduces recent research on the topic of informal-formal partnerships in e-waste management, followed by interesting insights from practitioners on how these partnerships can work and why it is increasingly important to pursue these. Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) and recyclers from Peru, Nigeria and South Africa share their experiences.

This webinar has been uploaded into StEP’s YouTube channel and is part of the GIZ Webinar Series for E-Waste Recyclers. It introduces recent research and is based on the paper “Case studies and approaches to building partnerships between the informal and the formal sector for sustainable e-waste management” that has been published in April 2020.
