UNDIO ITPO Germany recognizes the need to apply circular economy approaches linking production and modern recycling technologies and the use of waste streams to secure a sustainable supply of energy and water for production processes.
In all technology and investment promotion activities, UNIDO ITPO Germany supports approaches that create value, and ultimately prosperity, trough extending product lifespan and relocating waste from the end of the supply chain to the beginning – in effect, using resources more efficiently by using them more than once. As the specialized organization of the United Nations for Industrial Development, we prioritize projects and solutions that are linked to industry and industrial processes and those that involve private sector players.
