The members of the alumni network are currently connected with each other quite well and they together mobilize resources with technical support from STG to develop different projects and programs for community development and social change. Acting as a platform for alumni, STG always wants to expand and link up with other networks like the PREVENT Waste Alliance to learn new knowledge and find more partners to widen our network as well as to mobilize more resources for community development in Vietnam.
If the linear economic is only concerned with resource extraction, production and disposal after consumption, leading to the creation of a huge amount of waste, the circular economy focuses on resource management and recycling. Therefore, we always explore and apply circular economy models in environmental protection projects that we are implementing to help communities save energy, money as well as to protect the environment. At the same time, we are planning to apply circular economy in our agricultural development projects in order to help local communities learn how to reuse agricultural by-products and organic waste during their production process.
