At the United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi, UN members agreed to negotiate a legally binding treaty to end plastic pollution. We would like to celebrate this milestone by giving you an insight into our current innovation programme!

The event will be opened by Dr. Ingolf Dietrich, Head of the Division “2030 Agenda; Social and Environmental Transformation; Feminist Development Policy” at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
After his opening words, two ideas from each of our current innovation challenges will be presented in short pitches:
Following the pitches, selected circular economy experts from PACE – Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy, OECD, Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development will give feedback to the presenting teams and discuss their solutions to combat plastic pollution.
