New GIZ project “Support to the BMU funding program Marine Debris Framework”

GIZ proudly announces the start of a new marine litter project with the objective to support the German Environment Ministry BMU in the implementation of their new funding program Marine Debris Framework: Regional Hubs around the Globe. With this program BMU supports developing and emerging economies to prevent plastic waste so it will not enter the environment.
The GIZ support project focuses inter alia on international exchange and knowledge transfer. It also seeks to implement smaller measures such as workshops and small scale pilot projects with reference to marine litter prevention. If you want to know more about the project or have good ideas for such activities, please get in touch.
