German “Waste separation works” campaign provides information on how to correctly separate waste

Through their nationwide campaign “Waste separation works”, which was launched in Germany on 10 March, the dual systems explain to consumers how to separate waste correctly and clear up misconceptions and myths surrounding waste. This campaign is important because there is still too much non-recyclable waste making its way into yellow bins/sacks, and this makes it difficult or even impossible to recycle packaging. Those who are interested can visit the campaign website www.mülltrennung-wirkt.de/en/ to access lots of downloadable materials and learn why separating waste correctly helps to conserve resources and protect the environment — and how they can help.
