cirplus admitted to DBU Green Start-up support programme

PREVENT member cirplus is one of a total of 16 start-ups to be included in the Green Start-up Programme of the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). The funding programme supports start-ups that combine solutions for environment, ecology and sustainability with a focus on digitalisation in an innovative way.

cirplus is developing a global marketplace for circular plastics for the waste, recycling and plastics industry. cirplus’ digital technology helps to reduce the transaction costs for recyclates, for example through newly developed standards in cooperation with DIN e.V. (DIN Spec 91446), the integration of logistics and testing services as well as through payment processing. cirplus has also been awarded the “Efficient Solution” label by the Solar Impulse Foundation of Bertrand Piccard – a distinction reserved for 1000 solutions that protect our environment in a profitable way.
